Although Leona has sung for the queen of England and at Carnegie Hall, her ultimate musical experience has been leading the body of Christ in worship and praise! 

Music has been Leona's life passion since she was a young girl growing up in Kansas.  She was born in Emporia, Kansas and graduated from Kansas State University in 1982 with a degree in music. Because of her musical versatility she is a sought after studio singer and vocal coach.

Today, Leona can be found sharing her talents as a soloist and lay worship leader at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, TX, mentoring young vocalists, and singing at churches and conferences.  

Leona resides in Plano, Texas with her husband, Jim and their three long-haired chihuahuas - Toto, Sadie and Lily.
